Samsung Smart TVs run on the Tizen operating system, which has its own app store. The good news: Samsung supports several excellent IPTV apps natively, so you do not need a Firestick or Android box. Here is the complete 2026 guide to setting up PrimeVision IPTV on a Samsung Smart TV in under 5 minutes.
Which Samsung TVs are compatible?
Every Samsung Smart TV from 2016 onwards runs Tizen and supports the IPTV apps below. This includes QLED, Neo QLED, OLED, Crystal UHD, and entry-level Smart TV models. Older non-Tizen Samsung TVs may need a Firestick or Android TV box.
Step 1 — Connect your Samsung TV to the internet
From the home screen, go to Settings → General → Network → Open Network Settings and pick Wi-Fi or Wired. For 4K streaming we recommend wired Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
Step 2 — Install an IPTV app from the Samsung Apps store
Open Apps from the home screen, search for one of these and install it:
- Smart IPTV (SIPTV) — the most popular Samsung IPTV app. 7-day free trial, then a small one-time activation fee.
- NET IPTV — stable alternative if SIPTV is not available in your region.
- OTT Player — clean UI with EPG support.
- Set IPTV — supports M3U URL with EPG.
Step 3 — Find your Samsung TV MAC address
Most Samsung IPTV apps work by uploading a playlist URL to a web portal that recognizes your TV by MAC. Go to Settings → Support → About This TV (or About Smart Hub) and write down the MAC address.
Step 4 — Upload your PrimeVision M3U URL
Open the SIPTV web portal at siptv.app, enter your MAC address, paste the M3U URL from your PrimeVision welcome email, and click Add. The channel list and EPG sync to your TV automatically.
Step 5 — Open the app and start streaming
Reopen the IPTV app on your Samsung. The full 40,000+ channel lineup loads in 30–60 seconds with the 7-day EPG. Use the remote to switch channels, set favorites, and search.
Common Samsung IPTV issues
Smart IPTV not available in my region
Switch to NET IPTV, OTT Player, or Set IPTV — all support the same M3U URL. Or change your Samsung account region to one where SIPTV is listed.
Channels load slowly or stutter
Switch to wired Ethernet, restart the TV (unplug for 60 seconds), and clear the IPTV app cache. PrimeVision uses 10 Gbps anti-buffer servers so most issues are local network related.
EPG not loading
Wait 5 minutes for the first EPG sync. If it still does not appear, log out and back in, or upload the M3U URL again from the web portal.
