LG Smart TVs run on the webOS operating system, which has its own app store called the LG Content Store. webOS supports a strong selection of IPTV apps so you can stream PrimeVision IPTV directly on your LG TV without a Firestick or external box.
Which LG TVs are compatible?
Every LG Smart TV from 2016 onwards (webOS 3.0+) supports the IPTV apps in this guide. This includes OLED, NanoCell, QNED, UHD, and entry-level webOS Smart TVs. Older LG NetCast TVs are not compatible — those need a Firestick or Android TV box.
Step 1 — Connect your LG TV to the internet
From the home screen, go to Settings → All Settings → Network → Wi-Fi Connection or Wired. For 4K streaming we recommend wired Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
Step 2 — Install an IPTV app from the LG Content Store
Open the LG Content Store from your remote, search for one of these and install it:
- Smart IPTV (SIPTV) — the most popular IPTV app on webOS. 7-day free trial, then a small one-time activation fee per device.

Step 3 — Find your LG TV MAC address
Go to Settings → All Settings → Support → TV Information (or Network → Wi-Fi Status). Write down the MAC address — you will use it to upload your playlist.
Step 4 — Upload your PrimeVision M3U URL
Open the IPTV provider web portal (for SIPTV: siptv.app; for SS IPTV: ss-iptv.com), enter your LG TV MAC address, paste the M3U URL from your PrimeVision welcome email, and submit. The channels and EPG sync to your TV in seconds.
Step 5 — Launch the app and start streaming

Common LG IPTV issues and fixes
App will not install
Make sure your webOS version is 3.0 or newer. Older models can use a USB IPTV app sideload, but a Firestick is faster.
Stuttering or buffering
Switch to wired Ethernet, restart the TV by unplugging it for 60 seconds, and clear the IPTV app cache. Lower the stream quality to FHD if your connection is below 50 Mbps.
EPG empty
Wait 2–5 minutes after first login for EPG to sync. If still empty, refresh the playlist from the web portal or log out and back in.
